Over the years when people have asked about my passion, I was always stumped and would mumble ‘Oh, I’m just a jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none.’ I have at last learned to own there is nothing wrong with being multi-passionate.
Since my teen years, I’ve been torn between art, architecture, music, theater, and writing. I’ve have been fortunate enough to have worked fully or peripherally in each of those fields. A couple of my jobs have given me the opportunity for periodic academic writing. But on my own time, creative writing continued to wax and wane. It has now become a full moon that will not set.
